Pro Organizations
In an effort to always be "in the know" and up to date with the current trends in the photographic industry, Kevin Hurley Photography is actively involved with numerous professional trade organizations. These organizations provide our clients with the confidence that they will be receiving top of the line quality and service. The benefits of being a member of these organizations are priceless to our studio as well as to our clients.
In 2009, Kevin was selected as one of the PPA Silver Photographers of the Year. Only 75 active members of the Professional Photographers of America were bestowed with this honor. In 2011, Kevin was the recipient of the SEEPA Award and in 2012 he was chosen to receive the VPPA Virginia Award from his peers throughout the state of Virginia. One of his images also received the Court of Honor recognition in the state competition. In 2013, after years of volunteering his time, educating his peers, and receiving high scores in print competitions, Kevin received his Master Photographer degree. In 2014, Kevin received his Master Craftsman degree from PPA as well as the National Award which is the highest honor that one can receive from the Virginia Professional Photographers Association where he served as President. Receiving these awards is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of the images that are created at Kevin Hurley Photography.
